At Black Diamond Community Foundation, we believe that every child should have access to the same opportunities to thrive in their future and pursue their dreams. Our mission is to bridge the gap between children with limited resources and the opportunities they need to succeed, providing access to higher education and health resources to empower them to pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination.

Active Youth Program
The ability to pay to be Active should not be a barrier that prevents our youth from being Active

Activities
Active Youth program is the resources to help our youth participate in organized and school-based activities as well as activities such as exercise, hiking, cooking, mental health including social skills, table etiquette, peer relationships and more.
Not every youth has a desire to participate sports, but every youth is Active whether it’s music, STEM, gardening, cooking, entrepreneurial, photography/videography, dancing, cheer, and also more.
We want to prepare the youth in our community to be Actively ready for their future the proper way, so they do not end up going down the wrong path! The Active Youth program is dedicated to empowering our young people in all areas of life. By focusing on physical health, mental well-being, and skills development!

Healthy Active Youth
In the US 1 in 5 children are obese. Access to healthy, affordable foods and safe, convenient places for physical activity can impact obesity
CDC.gov
It has been observed that children who don't get to participate in kids' activities could be at higher risk for developing health issues like obesity, depression, anxiety, diabetes and even high blood pressure
